Elze Landkroon MSc.PhD Candidate
Elze Landkroon is a PhD Candidate at the department of Clinical Psychology since November 2016. Her project is focused on procedures to weaken threat memories and to diminish pathological fear. The aim is to translate these experimental findings to clinically useful treatments for anxiety disorders and to test its effectiveness. This project is funded by a VICI awarded to prof. dr. Iris Engelhard ‘A new approach to fear reduction by disrupting reconsolidation of threat memories’. Elze Landkroon is supervised by prof. dr. Iris Engelhard and dr. Dieuwke Sevenster.
